Sandy Skelaney’s student just became a finalist for iChangeFIU’s Social Innovation Challenge. She won $500 and now competes for $7500 to launch a new program that she designed in her class to develop a training program for Americorps members to identify youth survivors of sex trafficking in high schools. Her students are turning class assignments into actual programs!
